At its Investors Day of 11 September last year, Omega Pharma announced the creation of
a joint venture with the Modi Group from India.
On April 28, the CEO's of both groups have formalized their 50% participation in this Indian Joint venture at a press conference in Brussels.

My university courses include a wide range of business management and economics courses as well as statistics, academic writing courses. I have chosen to take a number of communications classes as electives all relating to my major.
My grades for the past year and a half have been excellent. My GPA is consistent at 3.54 since my first semester (I hope to improve on it in the following semesters) and I am on the Dean’s list for my academic achievements in college.

Although I am an active part of my college community (basketball, representative to the student government and president of the business club) I have no work experience which is an essential part of one’s development to be competitive in the job market or regarding admissions to masters programs.
I want to do an internship to gain experience in the corporate world. It will give me a foundation for my masters and I will learn the basics of working in an organization; the communication, mechanisms of hierarchy and I will be able to put what I have learnt in college to practical use, doing market research and other tasks required of me. I also think internships are an excellent way to get a feel for what aspects of business I am practically good at or enjoy, which will lead me to make more informed career choices in the future.

| Scriptum Award Contest 2009 |

Since 2006 the Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BICC&I) organises a scriptum award where they hand out an award of EUR 1000 and a free Jet Airways return ticket Brussels-India to a student that has written the best thesis about the enhancement of economic cooperation between Belgium and India. The aim is to reach all high schools and universities in Belgium to promote and stimulate the knowledge of India.
Before the 15th of August 2009 all students who want to participate must be registered. A jury composed of professors and high level CEO’s, will then decide who will get the scriptum award.
